Redefining Confidence: Career, Wellbeing & Style Through Life Transitions

  • The Last Talisman 171 Bermondsey Street London, England, SE1 3UW United Kingdom (map)

How to navigate career & life transitions with confidence & style?

In a world where artificial intelligence dominates the headlines, women’s physicality and its effect on mental health remains under-researched and still discussed behind closed doors. But when 50% of the population is female, it is more important than ever to educate ourselves, support each other, and seek solutions together.

Join us for an inspiring networking evening where our expert panellists: award-winning stylist Abbey Booth, GP and co-founder of 2MeClinic Dr Anne Gauthey-Sebert, and Alice Holland-Lu, founder of The Female Archetypes will explore:

  • The many transitions women experience throughout their lives, and how these impact careers

  • How and why our bodies change and ways to navigate those changes instead of accepting them in silence

  • How to use clothing and personal style at every life stage to feel confident, not hidden

Moderated by our amazing committee member, Marie de Champchesnel, this conversation will offer real stories, expert insights, and practical takeaways.

Be heard, be seen, be confident, in your career and beyond.

Meet the Experts:

Abbey Booth is an award-winning Personal Stylist & Body Shape Expert. She creates vibrant & empowering styling experiences for busy professional women, bringing the connection and excitement back into their style and their wardrobe so they FEEL like the best version of THEM. She firmly believes style is self-care, and when we dress for ourselves from the heart outwards, we feel authentically and beautifully ourselves, making everyday effortless.

Alice Holland-Lu is the founder of The Female Archetapes, a sustainable clothing brand dedicated to designing apparel that meets women where they are. After having two children, she became frustrated that women have to fit into the fashion industry's specified size boxes rather than having clothing adapt to their evolving forms. Drawing on 15 years of experience in the fashion industry, Alice created The Female Archetypes, where everything is adjustable to support women through all stages of life.

Dr Anne Gauthey-Sebert is the co-founder of 2Me Clinic, an online and onsite Private Female Health Clinic. Passionate about female health, in 2021 together with Dr. Uchenna Amaechi, she launched 2Me Clinic, a modern Primary Care Female Health Hub offering comprehensive care with a holistic approach that supports women through not just medical treatment but also lifestyle changes, mental health support, and alternative therapies

With over 30 years of medical experience, Dr. Anne has worked as a GP in the NHS since 2004 and as a Primary Care Physician at BUPA for 6 years. She graduated from Paris V University Medical School in 1992, and before moving to London in 2001, she ran her own General Practice in Paris for 10 years, while also serving as the head of Public Health and Deputy Mayor of Paris's 18th arrondissement from 1995 to 2001. Her expertise in women's health includes diplomas from the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Health and the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (2019). As women's health lead at her NHS practice, she developed guidelines on Female Genital Mutilation, Contraception, and Post Natal Depression.

A note to our male supporters

This event is being arranged for women in London to meet and network. We love that we have male allies who want to be involved (and we'd love to hear from you about any ideas you have for that). However, this event is strictly for women.
